Read MoreThe Conservancy is gearing up for an exciting new digital exhibition to be unveiled in June 2023, entitled, “Food Tastes Better at Sea: Dining Aboard the SS United States.” The exhibit and events will draw on the organization’s extensive curatorial collection to highlight aspects of food culture, history, and technology, including differences in cuisine among the classes, how food was part of the growing competition with the airline industry, and how the SS United States utilized new technologies to store and prepare food at sea.
