Read Our 2022 Annual Appeal
While we believe that the post-COVID economy will provide opportunities for RXR to advance the SS United States’ redevelopment, we face stiff headwinds that only your support can help us overcome. These challenges are making it increasingly likely that the ship will need to be moved for the first time in over 25 years.
That’s why this year’s annual appeal is so critical. Please consider renewing your membership and making your year-end tax-deductible contribution.
70th Anniversary Writing Contest Winners
We received dozens of submissions, from people who immigrated aboard the ship, have seen the vessel since her retirement and those who have been inspired simply by learning her story. We also received a variety of submissions, including reflective memoirs, poems and more. We are pleased to announce that we’ve selected two winners - Angela Harrison Eng and Julian Sukel.
